Happy 4th of July

Stressed

After having to do payroll at work, My Car getting wrecked and other little things I cant wait for this 3 day weekend. Sat we are headed down to the farm for a party and then on Sun we are having a party at our house. So Bring your beer and a chair and join us for some food, fun and fireworks.

I Had a Car Accident Today!

So today at lunch I decided to head up to the little town I work ins gas station to grab a soda and a bad of chips to munch on till I got home for dinner. When I go there the gas station was super busy and I pulled into the parking lot straight ahead to my parking space. As I was pulling in and only 2 feet from the concrete block the guy next to me opens his door and takes out my mirror and slightly dents and damages my passenger door. His door is pushed in. The police are called and show up. Wow guess what a jackass for a cop. And the best thing was the guy that hit me worked for the state police cause the Hamel cop asked him what do you do with the state police? Well the cop asked what happen and the other guy said what he had to say. He asked me if I was parked and I said I'm not sure if I was totally parked but I am at least in my spot when he opened his door. He says to me if you wasn't in park then its your fault, and if you see where my car was I clearly was already in my spot just not all the way in park when he opened his door and hit me. The next thing he looks at both cars, not seeing all the damage to mine cause the mirror hanging down is blocking the other damage, says well there is not enough damage to either car that we even have to make a report. Well I had already talked to Doug and he already spoke to our insurance company and she wanted a report and to call her after I got it. So I mentioned it to the officer and he again says well its not necessary, so I say well this car is not in my name its in my husbands and I know hes my husband but he makes the decision, so he says call him them. So I do and Doug says yes he wants one. At this point the cop is not a happy camper. But while I was on the phone he talks to the other guy again and he mentions that there is video and he will just watch the video and see who is at fault. The officer goes back to his car, writes up his forms, asked me if I was wearing a seat belt and goes on with his business. Goes in the gas station watches the video and comes out saying and pointing out on the paper work that was already filled out from before he went into the store that I am car 1 and he is car 2. Car 1 is at fault, like he had it set in stone that I was at fault. But anyway he says that I was coming in to fast, faster than normal cars do and I hit his door as he was opening it. And that he had already been sitting there for 14 minutes before I pulled into the spot. If you look at the pictures his door is bent in where he opened his door and it went past my mirror which took it off. If I hit his door it would have bent out and buckle on the outside.

Doctors Vist

Well this week I went back to my doctor for a follow up from my surgery and to find out what our next step was. When I got there he proceeds to tell me that everything looked good and showed me all the disguting pictures of my insides. What my gall bladder looked like, my kidneys, tubes everything basically. Then he examined my incisions and said get dressed and meet me in my office. We went over a few things and he tells me I dont see nothing stopping you from getting pregnant other than your cycle not being on time. So I am going to give you a med to start your cycle for this month and then I want you to take this med, and this med, and this med etc. All these meds should get my cycle back on track and we could possible even get pregnant this cycle. I have this chart I have to follow and on certain days and times take these meds. So our fingers are crossed and if it dont take this time we will try again the next 2 months. After that I will have to find a new place to go to. I have another Doctor lined up, but Dr. Wilbois mentioned about a nurse that knows more than some doctors that can take care of me. So I may just go to her and see what happens. And I also have to add these meds I am taking wow they give me the worst Hot Flashes ever so I just thought I would add this funny I found.

Well I havent blogged in a while, because I really havent had much to blog about lately so:

Surgery

Friday June 4th Surgery Day

So my Doctor decided before he goes through with anything else he wants to make sure I don't have endometrosis and blocked tubes etc. So Doug, his mom, and I head to the hospital at 5 am check in and wait for the Doctor to arrive. I wait till 7 when they ask me a few questions and then give me my first does of anesthesia as the nurse called it my margarita. After my first does I am whisked away to my surgical room and by the time I get in there I can barely see a thing and loopy as can be. Then they tie my legs and hands down and put oxygen on my face. I panic and try to take the oxygen off but of course I cant cause the hands are tied down but I guess the nurse could see I was panicking and took the oxygen off and asked me if I was claustrophobic I shook my head yes and the next thing I remember was waking up in recovery. But this is what I do know. I had a tube down my throat to keep me breathing through my surgery and this sucked the next 2 days after as I had a sore throat and no voice. Then also when I got out of surgery I had a few breathing problems and they gave me 2 breathing treatments to help me breath. The nurse was mad at me cause I didn't tell her I gave up smoking 4 months ago and if she would have known that they could have given me a treatment before my surgery and that would have helped. But after my treatments I was nauseated but sent home, when I got there I slept for the last 2 days and today I am finally beginning to feel like myself again. I am sore where my incisions are, which is right on my pubic area and in my belly button and then of course they had to blow my belly up with gas to be able to look all around so I am sore from all the gas and especially my back from laying around on it so much. But this is what I got out of my doctor. He examined everything and I have NO endometrosis, NO Blocked tubes that's right the right side tube is not blocked the last test given by my last doctor is a false test. My ovaries look good but I d have PCOS , my uterus is beautiful and no problems with kidneys or gall bladder. Seems to be no problem other than my cycles are not on track and my metabolic rate is off so he decided to put me on the South Beach Diet and Meds to get me on track and I go back to see him in 2 weeks will know more than.

Wow! What a busy weekend that was, and it went by so fast!

So for Memorial Day weekend Johnny, Skippy, Doug and I took a long road trip and drove to South Carolina to visit our buddy Scotty. Let me tell you that drive sucks but I pretty much slept the whole way there. We decided to leave Friday evening around 6, Doug drove the whole way there and I am not sure why. When we got there Saturday Morning around 9 we went straight to the beach. We met up with a few of Scottys friends Christine and John at their beach house and walked to the beach from there. Once we got on the beach we walked for miles and miles to a restaurant. All the way there Doug and I picked up every sea shell we could find that was pretty and not broken, and drew in the sand just for fun.

After lunch we decided to walk back to where we came from and then stop to rest on the beach while some of us swam in the ocean for a while.

Oh yeah and let me tell everyone I could have killed Doug at this point. You see while we was at the restaurant I told Doug before you get in the ocean be sure to take your ring off so you don't lose it. He tells me its so tight on my hand it wont come off, I said yeah but when you get in the water it will loosen up and come off. Well guess what he didn't listen, got in the water and lost it in the ocean. I was so upset and he new I was upset and he was to but tried to make me feel better and brought up and put it as now we have left a piece of our marriage in South Carolina and we can come back here and remember it. I was still upset and he knew it and asked why and I said cause I was married to you in that ring it means alot to me. He says yes but for our 5 year marriage you asked me for a new ring with a bigger center diamond and etc and when I do that, it wont be the same ring I married you in. I looked at him and said you are right and it made me feel a little bit better. After we left the beach we had plans to go to dinner. But Doug cant stand not having his wedding ring on his finger so we got directions from Scotty and drove to the mall to find a new one. When we got there they had only 4 jewelry stores. When went to the first 3 and nothing that resembles the ring we had or anything that we liked, so we went to the last store and this was a store we have never heard of Ocean Jewelers and right there in front of our eyes was a ring almost exactly like the one we had before, and it happen to be 50% off not that it matters, we was going to buy it no matter what. After we left the mall we headed back to Scottys and walked to meet Johnny and Scotty at Kings Street for dinner and to watch the UFC Fights. Now Scotty said this restaurant was right up the road but it was blocks away so we decided to take our time and spend our evening together. Oh yeah Skippy was passed out at Scottys Drunk. On our way to the restaurant we saw some pretty swans swimming in the pond that's behind Scotty Condo so I of course had to take pics

As I was doing that they came right up to me, I guess they thought I was gonna feed them. Right after dinner I was so wiped out that I wanted to go back to Scottys and go to bed. Doug didn't disagree as he had now been up for over 40 hours straight from driving all the way there. The Next morning we got up met up with Scotty Girlfriend Maddie we all went to lunch with her and then over to one of her friends house on a farm where they were bbqing and partying the night away. We stayed a few hours, ate lunch then headed back to Scottys. Doug and Johnny decided to take naps and Skippy wanted to go to the gay bar so Scotty took Skippy to the bar and I watched TV. Once Scotty got back Johnny and Scotty went over to his house he just bought to put the grill together while Doug was still sleeping after about an hour Doug woke up and ask where is everyone so I told him. He gave them a call and as he did that they were already on there way back. Once they got back we left and headed to play Miniature Putt Putt.

Skip showed up with another gay guy so we split up into 2 teams and play 2 different courses. After we finished all that we decided it was time for dinner. Skip headed back to the bar and we would pick him up afterwards. After the night was over we went home and all went to bed. The next morning Doug and Scotty was going to get up and go Hog hunting but they didn't get to go so Doug and I ran up the road and bought souvenirs and then back to Scottys so we could leave to go have lunch & boating. Lunch let me say was the best food I had all week. After lunch we ended up on this boat that was huge, we sailed pretty far out and then anchored for about 3 hours. Alot of us the ones that live in Illinois, yeah we all got burnt. After the 3 hours out there we sailed back in and was headed back for home, but of course had to stop at Cooters for 1 beer. Now we are finally headed for home to shower up and then head to dinner. Dinner was the best seafood I have had in a long time and let me say it was the biggest buffet I have every seen. After dinner we was going to head to the boardwalk but I was so wiped out from the sun and everyone else at to much food that we decided to head back to the house to just relax. And I thought it was a good idea since we was leaving to drive back at wee hours in the morning. Tues morning Doug is waking me up telling me its time to go. Vacation over and 14 hour drive home.

OK so for next year we already decided our trip plans since Doug and I don't want to bowl ABCs anymore, especially if its in Reno, NV. But our trip is as planned. If we are pregnant or have a baby before then, we are headed back to South Carolina, and if not we are all going to Costa Rica. If we end up back at South Carolina we will take the baby there with us and have our first family vacation together. Then the following year we can all go to Costa Rica and leave the baby at home with the parents.

Hello June

Its that time again time to see whats going on for the month:

Well June 3rd was going to be my new appointment to see a new fertility Doctor Dr. Ahlering but I had to cancel it and I ended up staying with my Doctor I have now until he retires on August 31st Then I will start seeing Dr. Ahlering. Why you ask? Well we already had stuffed planned and decided to finish what I had already started.

June 4th- I will be having my surgery for fertility. Dr. Wilbois is going to go in and repair my right tube that is blocked, scrap away and remove as much as he can of any endometreosis I may have and examine and repair anything else he may find. After he does all this for my next cycle we can start IUI process.

The 14th is Flag Day, this year we don't have a Flag to display in the front yard because a storm we had last year broke the steel pole the flag used to hang on right in half. But if you look around up and down the side streets everywhere you will see the American Flag.

June 20th is not a special day to me as I didn't have a father growing up and after trying he still hasn't been much of a father but this day is special to alot of other men out there and one day will be special for Doug to. This day happens to be Fathers Day.

And Finally June 21st begins the first day of Summer and so far these last few months when it is normally warm and sunny hasn't been at all. Its actually been cold and rainy. So lets hope with is being the First Day of Summer we have warm sunny weather, because its Float Trip time.
