Halloween

Halloween this year has been pretty busy

last week we had Doug's Aunt Emily's annual party which is always a good time. I headed over to the party around 6:30 while Doug had a diaper party to go to first for a cousin who just had baby Connor a few days ago. Doug's sister and I went to the hospital the day he was born to visit momma and baby and both were doing great. Connor was so adorable.
But anyway after the party Doug joined us and all the family and friends. I do believe there was over 80 people there this year.
Everyone chowed down on food and watch the Cards play while chit chatting. Later that night it started to chill down some so I thought it was time to join everyone around the bon fire on my way there Doug's cousin Ben's wife Aubrey who is 2 weeks behind me pregnant with twins and we just found out a boy and a girl, how perfect is that now our kids can play together. Well anyway she has been having motherly fears and came looking for me to ask me question on what I have been feeling etc. In the end I pretty much ended her fears and we all had a good night.
After the party was over Doug and I headed home which is just a hop and a skip away over the yards.
And I'm sorry but I cant remember what we did that Sunday, I know shame on me.

But this week what a great time. On Fridays we usually go to bingo but we decided to stay home to see who was going to win the world series of baseball. GO CARDS! before the game started we went back to moms and dads and had dinner and watched the game on the large flat screen with surround sound. Half way through I had a breathing attack, thank you Lilly and Bryce for sitting on mommas lungs. So we headed home to finish watching the game, which I was kinda glad for a few reason. 1 I was cold and wanted to relax on my comfy couch with my blanket and cover up his parents couch sucks ass. 2. I was tired from being up late the night before watching the game hoping to win so we had one more chance. After the game was over we watched who won MVP go Freese and all after activities and headed to bed.
And I was ready,this was some of the best sleep I had in a long time. I slept through everything and anything, nothing bothered me including Doug who usually wakes me in the mornings when he gets up for some reason e cant sleep past 8. Most of the time its because the dog wakes him up (never bothers me) Thank you Tanner to go out potty and then when he gets up, he is up. But Sat morning he got up and never once did I notice. Around 10 or so I got up to go to the bathroom for the 50Th time and finally realized wheres my hubby, so I headed to the living room where he usually is sitting in his chair watching his hunting channel or snoozing, but no he was no where to be found as I was headed to get the phone to call him I saw him outside at his sisters building her a Cat house for his stray cat that wont leave. So I got dressed and headed over. At this point we was almost done.
After he finished momma and babies were hungry so I talked Daddy into going to Texas Roadhouse besides i had to get a costume for our parties we were headed to that night.
After lunch and shopping, home we went to get ready and headed over to Doug's ex coworkers house for his party. even though I cant drink and knew no one this was a good time. There was only 11 of us there but it was a great time and I didn't want to leave but we had to go to Doug's cousin Kristi's house for her party. We stayed there for a few and headed home.
Doug loaded his four wheeler and we went in to bed at 1 am. Doug got up at 4 and left to go hunting. I slept in again till 10 and then got up and met my madre for lunch and shopping. After words we went to a special Halloween bingo where we won $500.00 go me. Finally at 11 it was over and we went home to bed. Now tonight I can look forward to a few trick or treater and have an early night to bed, to start all over again tomorrow.

5 Month Check Up!

Well yesterday we had our 5 month ultrasound and we was finally getting to find out Baby B's gender. We was told a boy but she was not for sure.

I was so anxious but of course the ultrasound nurse worked on Baby A like she always does first and confirmed again she is definitely a girl and was measuring right on track. For some reason both babies decided to move positions and now can kick each other. Lilly was getting a beating from her brother, poor girl.

But after her measuring her and hearing her heart etc we moved on to Baby B. She did her measurements and listen to the heart and then went to check the gender and Bam! legs spread apart and his man parts completely exposed. Doug says wow look at that sack, I looked at him like really cant we just say well endowed. LOL But then again he was also measuring bigger then his sister also. Go figure!

After the ultrasound we got to see the Nurse practitioner, Dr. Shaner was out delivering a baby and she asked a few questions measured my belly and I was measuring a few weeks bigger then the babies but she said that was OK.

And for those that keep asking if I feel them kick, NO still not yet but they said that's most likely because the babies are not quite strong enough or big enough yet but they are definitely in there going to town. Oh yeah and they are crowded so they don't have as much room to kick me.

So its confirmed we are having one of each and we couldn't be happier parents!

5 Months Pregnant

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 20 Weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I am right at my starting weight from when I started the IVF transfer. So I am slowly gaining the weight back that I lost from getting so sick through this pregnancy. The doctor was actually mad at me last months appointment because I was losing weight, he asked me if I was eating and Doug pipes up and says yes like a pig. Well I have another doctors appointment next wednesday and cant wait to see what he says about my weight this time.

Maternity Clothes: Yes shirts and bottoms.

Gender: At my last appointment the ultrasound nurse said its 100% a girl and 85% a boy but we will know for sure next Wednedsay if the other one is a boy or not. But we hope so!

Movement: I felt a fluttering kick one time the end of Sept and one time again last night when I laid down to go to bed, so I think its begining to happen.

What I miss: I dont think I miss anything, so far everything is going good.

Cravings: It depends on the day but nothing really weird.

Symptons: The lst few days, and Doug thinks its just growing pains. I have been having the sharpest pain where my boy sits. And then last night while in my last game of bowling I started to hurt again but this time it was my whole stomach, butt and back. Kinda scares me some but there was no spotting or bleeding so I am not calling the doctor and I will just let him know next week. And besdies and I am not that big for having twins I am actually smaller than some of my friends that are as far as long as I am with only one baby, so I think now I am going to start really growing and get big here really soon.

Best Moment this month: Getting to find out for sure what my other babies sex will be. And just getting to see the twins and making sure everything is ok after having the pains I have been having.

The Highlight of My Night

So last night was the one night a week that I bowl, yes I cut down from 3 leagues to 1 and Doug quit all together.

But anyway last night while bowling we was also watching the Cardinals playing the Phillies. David Freese was kicking some booty and had a 2 run Double, a 2 run Homer.

Just as Ashley a girl on my team was throwing/releasing the bowling ball, Jackson threw his baseball to throw the last pitch to strike out the batter to win the game. Everyone in the place cheered and clapped.
Ashley was so startled that she just did something special,or possibly wrong that our team and the team we was bowling against laughed at her so hard. It was the funniest thing I had seen all day. But believe it or not it has actually happen to me before to.
