Dinner With Friends

Just a little Short Post this time.
And Yes I know I am late getting this up Jenn!

A few weeks ago Doug and I met some good friends of ours at of one of our favorite restraunts Showmee's. While we were waiting for our food Finley Matt and Jenns 3 month old precious daughter was sleeping. As soon as dinner was at the table Finley woke up. Here is a few pics of mom and Finley and dad and finley.
I did try holding here but right now she is at that stage where she just wants her mommy and daddy. So as soon as I took her she was all red faced and crying, so I gave her back and she was as happy as can be.

Out Shopping

So While we was in the Ozarks for Doug to bowl his tourney I went shopping and one of the places I went was Bass Pro Shop. Now the Bass Pro there is huge and they have live animals, but it was closed but I did get a few pictures from the inside.
Here is turtles matting.
And an Alligator Shark, you cant tell in the picture but that thing was huge.

Also a large turtle.

Doug and I Wed Game

So this past week Doug and I got to go to 2 Cardinal baseball games. On Tuesday a buddy of ours Justin who works at the stadium gave us tickets behind homeplate. They were the best seats I have ever sat in. I did get to take a picture of every player that was in the lineup for the night. The cards won 3 to 2 mand it was a nice nite no rain. Then on Wednesday Doug's sister got her company tickets who were 3 rows from the field behind third base. These were also great seats, we got baseball players signatures, and our own personal indoor bar with bathrooms. Then it was also the place where FredBird and the girls came out to go out on the field to throw t-shirts. This was actually a cool thing, I was just sitting there watching the game when I felt someone tap me on my shoulder I turn around and it was FredBird so I got out my camera to take a picture but the camera died and he looked at me like what happen. But Doug saved the day and took a picture with his camera on his cell phone, FredBird sat there and posed for him.

Surgery Scheduled

Well I went to my fertility doctor last week, they had planned on taking my blood and doing an ultrasound so they could start IUI cycles but while the nurse was in the room talking to me I mentioned whatever happen to me having the surgery first to repair my blocked right tube and to remove the endometreosis I have and any other problems he may find in the process? She said what are you talking about? I replied well Dr. Wilbois mentioned he he wanted to do a labaroscopy and hysteroscopy surgery befor any IUI. She starts to read my file and wow right there in the notes it says the next step was for my surgery. So no blood work and ultrasound needed. The nurse puts me back in the waiting room and has a talk with the Doctor he says yes we need to do her surgery first. I am called back to the nurses station to set up my appointment to have my surgery done. She calls the hospital and sets the time and date up and then sends me downstairs for preregistration. I walk all the way to the B building I was in C and then down to the first floor I was on the 3rd and into office. I hand her my paperwork and she says to me can we reschedule you to come in for another day we are really behind and only have two nurses on duty. I said No I will wait I have the day off and cant take another day off to come in. She was very hesitant and didn't want to have me wait but said OK very hateful. I asked her how long and she said at least an hour. I sat in the waiting area for 10 minutes before they called my name. yeah that was sure a long hour wait. She seats me takes all my information and insurance and then puts me in a room where they take my blood, make me pee in a cup and then take my chest x-ray which I really wasn't sure what that was for, but later found out from my mom that its mandatory for surgery. They want to make sure your healthy since they are putting me under anesthesia. Finally done for the day and off to home I go. But anyway I am going in for the surgery June 4. I will let everyone know what the Doctors says and finds. Then the next step is for my next cycle we are going to do an IUI. If this don't work we will try one more time and if it don't work I will be switching Doctors as mine is retiring.

Swollen Foot

Lets start off by telling everyone in 2001 I was hit by a drunk driver. In that car accident I shattered my ankle and had to have surgery to have it put back together. In that surgery they put 2 screws in my foot to hold my bones together. Well until now I have never really had any problems with my foot. A week and a half ago I woke up and could barely walk, my foot was hurting me so bad and every step I took I felt like my screws were moving and ripping through my skin and anything else in my foot. After a few days that went away, but then it was sore to touch the outside all around and I could not put on a shoe. The tightness of the shoe was so pain full. Its a good things its summer time and I can wear flip flops. Then the swelling began and has not gone away now for 5 straight days. Some days are worse then others so we thought I might have gout but I figured I would go to the Dr. to definitely find out whats wrong with my foot. Yesterday I got the Doctors office at 2:45 for my appt. I got in to see him right away, he took one look asked me a few questions and said I'm not sure what you have or whats wrong but I first want to make sure you don't have a blood clot so lets do blood work and if there is no blood clot I will refer you to an orthopedic specialist to look at it. So off I go to get blood work, his company takes my insurance until it comes to blood work then they deny me so I was sent to Quest Diagnostics. There I sit down and just as he was about to begin he realized my Dr. put down STAT and he said that this test he cant do STAT so he called my Dr back and my Dr. said go to the hospital. The Quest guy proceeds to tell me that they also don't take my insurance so I will have to tell them its an emergency and they will do it. So now its 3:45 and I finally get to the place I need to be check in and wait till 4:30 to get in. Once I get in she proceeds to tell me the same, we don't take your insurance I said I know but this is an emergency and I was shipped her and told to get it done. At this point I am getting aggravated and said I don't care about the bill, just do it and I will pay the bill. She said you don't want this bill, its very expensive. I said it didn't really matter I need to get this done, because if it is a blood clot it could kill me. So she looks over at her boss and the boss says NO they wont even do it. I'm pissed at this point and she must have known it cause she says hold on a sec let me make a quick call. She calls the big boss and she says let me have a conference with hospital heads and I will get back to you. So there I go back to the waiting room. Oprah was going off so I know that its like 5 now and I'm starving for Dinner. Finally after 10 more minutes I am called back in and my blood work is done. Finally I get to go home and its 5:30. After yesterday Doug and I have decided to find us a new family Dr on the Missouri side. But as for my blood work I got no call back yesterday, so I assume its no blood clot but I am still waiting to see what he says and if he refers me to a specialist I am just going to go back to the Dr. that originally did my foot surgery at Memorial Hospital and see what he says. I will let everyone know more when I find out. And I will also add pics as soon as I get a chance.

Bowling Trip

So this past weekend Doug had the Greater Ozarks bowling tournament to bowl in. We left Saturday afternoon to drive to Springfield, MO, all the way there we watched a redbox movie on the DVD player and then I slept the rest of the way. We finally arrived around 4:30 at our hotel The Lamplighter Inn. Everyone checked in and then went to the room to change so we could head to the bowling alley. The guys were supposed to start bowling at 5:30 but of course they didnt get to start till around 6:30, so while I waited for them to start I had dinner. After the guys started pratice I decided to head to the mall to not be so bored. I shopped the whole mall and then headed back to the bowl. I got back right in time to see Doug bowl 300 which gave him an 823 series. Way to go my Hubby! Also boy did I ever miss so much drama while I was gone. The waitress screwed up, the people on the lanes over were double jumping our players but it didnt help that most of our players were pretty drunk. But after bowling most of our group went to the Midnight Rodeo bar across from our hotel. Everyone there decided to get so drunk that one of our friends tried to grope Doug and I, another went back to the hotel with another girl but there is a funnier story behind all that. The rest of us left and went to the 24 hr restraunt attached to the hotel. This place was so loud with all the drunks in there that a buddy of ours and Doug and I ate and got out of there as fast as we could. We fianlly got done and went to bed so we could get up early and do it all again the next day. Well its morning and off we go to the bowl, once again when they started pratice I went to Bass Pro Shop and went shopping, but this time when I got back they had only finished one game but Doug shot 275 that first game. After bowling was done Doug finished with 2198 averaging 244 for the 2 days. Great bowling Love! Now it was time to head home and I was ready.

Hello May

Wow its May already!

Time flys & summer is now here. Bring out the SPF and bring on the sun.
And As most of you know we had the April Showers, now bring on the flowers.

This summer Doug & I have alot planned but for May we are going:

On a Vacation to visit one of our buddies Scotty in Myrtle Beach, SC. Normally this time of the year we are leaving to go bowl USBC Tournament but since it is in Reno, NV again we decided to pass, actually the whole bowling group decided to pass. But anyway we decided to rent a van, Johnny, Skippy, Amy, Doug and I are all going to load up and spend the week down on the beach. I am looking forward to this for several reasons. One its a vacation away from work to relax, and have some fun. And two I will get to spend time with my BF that I don't get to see much. Johnny and Doug plan on going Hog hunting while we are there. Amy and I will just lay out on the beach.

May 9th is a special day for some of the ladies out there. May 9th is Mothers Day. This will be the first year that my grandma will not be there, she will be missed so much. But I have two great mothers and one day soon will be one myself. Happy Mothers Day to all you mommas out there. Also on May 23rd is Doug and Mines other Anniversary. This will be our 1st anniversary for the renewal of our vows. I hope that makes sense. As some of you know when Doug and I got married we was married at the courthouse and then one year later went to Las Vegas and renewed our Vows with a bigger formal wedding. Then we returned home and had our reception a few months later.

And Then you have on the 31st. This is a day to honor all of our fallen soldiers.

Then the next day you can look forward to
