Christmas Lights at the Zoo-Wild Lights

A few days before Christmas Dougs sister Sue and Mom asked us if we wanted to take the kids to see the Christmas Lights at the Zoo, and we thought sure they might like that. And I know I would, as I love Christmas lights. I have told Doug several times I wish it was mandatory that every house in the world had to put lights up on their house.

So anyway we bundeled the kids up and headed over there. It was a tad cold but not to bad. We got about halfway around the zoo when Bryce became crabby (go figure) and wanted out of the stroller and wanted to be held (go figure) so I got him out and we walked around. I wanted him to stay in the stroller and stay warm as we bundled them up in their stroller blankets, but he was not having it. And to top it off the kid is teething so bad that he had his hands in his mouth so they were all slobbery and wet and getting cold. Oh well he didnt seem to mind!

Lilly & Bryce's 1st Birthday

Well the Twins have turned 1! Where has the time gone!

So this past Saturday Jan 26th we had a big party for them.

We knew we had several people coming so rather then over crowd our house we rented a hall where we had my baby shower.

We didnt do nothing really big, since they really dont understand yet but it was a great time and a memory to last a lifetime for Doug and I.

We ordered Pizza and Salad

My Aunt Nancy @ Artistry on Cakes my the kids 1 cakes for them to smash and eat.

And then we made cupakes for all the guests, and ice cream.

We didnt play any games but we did had 2 pinatas, one for the bigger kids and a #1 to go with the party theme for the littler kids.

And then the kids opened all of their presents
