Baby Shower #1

Well I had my first baby shower yesterday, Doug's side of the family threw it and it was very nice.

We had tons of guest show up and got lots of great and needed gifts for the twins.

We started off setting up the hall Saturday night around 5 and yes I know I shouldn't have been there but I am a perfectionist and wanted to be there and Doug's mom said OK!

On Sunday we all got there early, for them to get the lunch prepared, we had fried chicken, mostaccioli , fettucini alfredo, corn, green beans, rolls and salad. What a lunch this was for a baby shower. And then I got there early to greet and thank guest for coming.

We started off with lunch and gave everyone time to fill in their Bingo games of what they think I got from my gifts so when I opened them they could play and then also time for them to fill out these advice to mother cards I wanted for the twins baby book.

While everyone had desert I started with my gifts. Doug's cousins little boy Joseph wanted to help and what a big help he was, I never had to get up once he brought all my gifts to me and even helped unwrap them.

We do have pics of the shower, but they are on my sisters camera so as soon as I get them I will upload for everyone to see. I was to busy to take any!

I wish to Thank everyone for coming and all the great gifts. I want to Thank Sue and Mom for a awesome baby shower and to all the family for all their help and hard work setting up and taking it all down.

My next shower is next Sunday December 11th. My family is throwing this one. Update on the to come next week and hopefully with pictures.
