IVF Update

Well here is what has been happening since my last post.

I have been taking metformin 3 times a day, and birth control for the 21 days.
Starting the 16th I start my Lupron Shots and then I have a ultrasound and blood work again on the 25th. But then on the 27th is the big day we get to start all the other important shots to prepare my body for egg retrieval.

But in the mean time I had a appointment yesterday for a sonohystrogram and trial embryo transfer. This wasn't the most painful test I have had done, but it wasn't that comfortable either. But it didn't take long and I was out of there in 30 minutes or less. But the GREAT news was everything looked perfect and she said I shouldn't have any problems. Thank the lord, finally some good news.

Now I am just anxious to get all the shots and drugs going and for my egg retrieval day to get here. Its all beginning to set in now and its becoming real.

The way it is looking we will know the final results in June.
