IVF Update

Well my cycle has started and I am not getting my body prepared for the IVF process. That is right the insurance approved the doctors letter and we are good to go moving forward with IVF.

Since my last update I have been on Metformin and boy does these pills mess with me. Makes me dizzy at times and my stomach hurt but not like the symptons the nurse told me I could get. Now since I have started my cycle, starting this Friday I will take Birth Control pills for 3 weeks, the 16th I will start with my first shots of Lupron, then an appointment on the 25th and stimulation starts the 27th. I so cant wait for egg retriveal day, and then transfer day.

But for now, I have an appointment this coming Wed and this is for my trial embryo transfer and sonohyst. Its all finally coming true.

IVF Update

Well I talked the nurse yesterday afternoon and she told me that they have not heard back from the insurance yet on the letter and that they sent the letter on the 11th. But lets go ahead and get me started on my med to start my cycle and then the birth control that I have to take for 21 days before I can begin my shots and also do my trial embryo transfer and sonohystrogram on day 3 of my next cycle. Then by then we should have the results from the insurance company. I said OK thanks. After I hung up the phone with her I called the insurance company to see if I could find anything out myself on the results. The Representative I spoke to on the phone said they did receive it on the 15th which was odd cause the nurse said she sent it the 11th. I'm guessing she didn't fax it like she was supposed to and mailed it. But anyway yes they did receive it marked urgent and that it takes 3 business days to look it over and make a decision and that I can call back in 3 days and they will tell me my results or the Doctors office and myself will receive a letter in the mail in about 10 days. So its a waiting game with the insurance but at least I am starting everything else and being prepared in case the insurance does approve it and then I will be good to go to start the IVF.

We Were Infested With Ants!

So recently we have noticed we have had alot of ants, but we couldn't not figure out where they were coming from. Some days were worse than others and everytime we would spray and they woud be gone for a week and then we would see them again. Just a week or so ago Doug set some bombs off in the house hoping that would work. Well guess what it didnt and this is what happen. Doug came home from golfing on Sunday and I was gone to bingo. When he got home the house was a little warm, because we actually was having a nice day after a few cold days. But anyway so he decided to open some windows and get some air flowing through the house. Well when he decided to open the Kitchen window this is what he found. ANTS galore, thousands and the eggs/Larve to go with them. It was the nastiest thing we have ever seen. Well we found the solution to our problem, so Doug spray the shit out of them and then sucked all the ants and eggs up in the dry vac and then washed the rest of all the mess away outside with the hose. Lets hope they are all gone this time. Oh yeah and the pictures dont do justice, it was worst then the pictures look. And these are the pictures after Doug sprayed the shit out of them

Our Anniversary

Doug and I was up, not much but we ended up breaking even at the end of the night. Next year since we really didnt plan anyting this year, I plan on planning something Big for us.

Today we celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. What an amazing ride it has been!
